Powers / Abilities : (As Eli) He possesses the normal human strength of a man of his physical age, height and build who engages in intensive regular exercise; Expert at fencing and wrestling; Eli (in both his human and Tigerborn forms) can regenerate injuries at a rate far greater than that of an ordinary human being (this faster healing ability also makes him virtually immune to poisons and to most drugs); (As Tigerborn) He has amazing superhuman strength and can lift (press) about 2 tons; Tigerborn has super-human acute senses (sight, hearing, smell, taste) comparable to those of certain animals (For example he can track someone by smell just as a tiger or wolf can over great distances, his highly developed olfactory sense and memory allows him to detect and track a scent over eight hours old that he had not been exposed to several months previously); Tigerborn's claws and teeth are strong enough to tear through substances as durable as bone; Tigerborn can "charge" and move at speeds of up to 50 miles per hour for a quarter mile distance (can do this several times as he is not easily fatigued); Tigerborn's fur gives him a certain amount of durability/invulnerability (example bullets cannot pierce his fur coat); Eli can change his physical form to Tigerborn at will (change takes 6-7 seconds)

Brief Bio : Eli's life before he was 10 years old is unknown. His life story begins when his parents are both killed in an accidental fire in the village of Qala (Malta) where Eli was born. An old friend of the family, French Baron Gregoire Bastarache, was named Eli's legal guardian and he moved to Paris, France and into the Baron's estate. Eli was privately tutored on the estate and given his own private cottage and servants to attend him. As Eli went through puberty he thought he had a terrible disease - tiger-type stripes would sometime appear on his skin - he would sometimes wake up with fangs and claws - he could hear what people were saying in the next room - he could smell and see things great distances away - Eli was thinking of going to a doctor but decided to keep his condition a secret. He began spending time alone in the nearby forest when he could and concentrating on being a tiger and saw how he could transform himself into a tiger-like being. Eli hunted animals in the forest and would gut them like a tiger when he caught them - he loved the thrill of the chase and the sensation of the kill. Eli excelled in his studies with his tutors including the wrestling and fencing classes the Baron made sure he attended. Eli, now calling himself "Tigerborn" when he was in tiger-like being form because he was "born to be a tiger", now in his late teens took to sneaking into the city of Paris at night and hunting humans as Tigerborn and honing all his tracking and killing skills to perfection. Tigerborn even tracked a few mutants and took their lives - he liked those kills the best because they put up a much better fight. Baron Gregoire Bastarache gave Eli a job with his international finance consortium when he turned 20 years old as his private tutoring was now over and Eli had done quite well and had really excelled at mathematics and finance. Eli was happy at the opportunity and knew he could travel around the world working for the international banking firm and could easily be a professional assassin under this guise. Eli worked hard for the first two years and then purchased his own apartment in downtown Paris moving out of the cottage he had called home for 12 years. The Baron was proud of him, never being married or having any kids of his own, and made sure Eli has access to all the funds he needed to do whatever he liked. Eli slowly constructed his own hideout base ("Claw Keep") over a three year period from the ruins of a very old temple. At Claw Keep is where he could train and keep all sorts of computer files, weapons and specialized equipment. During this time he started doing hits for European crime families, always through anonymous untraceable contacts and never for less than one million euros a kill. If the target was high profile or a mutant the price could go up to 10-20 million euros. Eli became very wealthy on his own very quickly doing hits as Tigerborn. On a chance trip to London (England) to meet with some wealthy English bankers, Eli was introduced to some members of the Hellfire Club - an international social club for wealthy elites. Eli was invited to a dinner at the Hellfire Club's mansion and he was excited to attend, maybe he could handle the banking transactions for some of it's wealthy elite members. Eli arrived and was escorted to a private dining room and noticed the large table was only set for two. The butler sat Eli on the right side of the table and a place was set at the head of the table. The butler then left the well-lit room and a few moments later Eli heard a gong chime somewhere in the mansion. Eli was a little concerned but knew he could become Tigerborn and tear apart any threat if he had to - or so he thought. The doors were loudly thrown open and in walked Sebastian Hiram Shaw - one of the Hellfire Club's most famous members and billionaire owner of Shaw Industries. Eli stood up and Sebastian closed the doors behind him and he motioned Eli to sit as he himself sat at the head of the table. Shaw went on to explain he knew about Tigerborn and had his eye on Eli/Tigerborn for a few years now. Shaw also went on to inform Eli of the Hellfire Club's "Inner Circle" and that he was a mutant just like Eli. Sebastian wanted Eli to stop all this freelance assassin nonsense he was doing for some of the European gangsters and come to work exclusively for the Hellfire Club's Inner Circle. Eli had now acquired a nice fortune on his own and most thought that was from the moves he made in international banking - Eli had been raised by a french baron - he had the right pedigree and wealth to become a member of the Hellfire Club like the other wealthy elite, Sebastian himself would invite him and put him up for membership. Eli could now handle the London Branch of the Hellfire Club's banking and financing needs which would give Eli great clout. But all this was a smoke screen - Eli/Tigerborn would be an associate of the Inner Circle and only assassinate on order of the Inner Circle. Eli listened as they dined on cornish hens and drank fine red wine. Eli liked the idea of working for the Inner Circle and becoming a public member of the elite Hellfire Club, he agreed to Sebastian's terms and they shook hands. Shaw then produced a small bag of diamonds, valued at around 100 million euros, and handed the bag to Eli - this was Eli's retainer from the Inner Circle - and from now on, only in private, Sebastian was to be referred to as the "Black King". Eli took the bag and put it inside his coat pocket and nodded. When Eli returned to Paris (France) the Baron was excited and impressed - he saw on the news that Eli was nominated for membership in the Hellfire Club and the Hellfire Club had wired one billion euros to the Baron's banking consortium to open a worldwide line of credit for various projects. In the years that followed Tigerborn assassinated many Inner Circle enemies and has become one of their most reliable and feared associate assassins.
